Flügel Physics ("we", "our", or "us") is an academic treatise and interactive learning platform designed for students preparing for IIT-JEE (Advanced), NEET-UG, and Physics Olympiads. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about data practices.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device (No Server Transmission)
The following data is stored only in your browser or mobile app's local storage and is never transmitted to our servers:

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser site data or reinstalling the app.
2.2 Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, or account information (no login/registration required)
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs (IDFA / GAID)
- Biometric or sensitive data
- Browsing history outside of this application
- Crash logs sent to our servers (errors are handled client-side only)
2.3 Analytics
The website currently uses no third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracking cookies).
3. Cookies
Flügel Physics uses only essential, functional cookies required for the VitePress documentation framework to operate correctly (e.g., theme preference). No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
4. Mobile Application (Android & iOS)
The Flügel Physics mobile app is a WebView-based application wrapping the same academic content. It:
- Requires no account creation
- Requests no system permissions beyond standard network access to load content
- Does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or file system
- Does not serve in-app advertisements
- Stores your progress data locally on-device only using the WebView's storage
5. Third-Party Services
The platform may embed content from or link to the following:
- KaTeX (open-source, local) — Mathematical formula rendering, no external requests
- VitePress (open-source, local) — Static site framework
No personally identifiable information is shared with any third party.
6. Children's Privacy
Flügel Physics is an academic resource suitable for students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data whatsoever, we are compliant with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and applicable data protection laws.
7. Data Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to our servers, there is no server-side data security risk to users. Local device storage (localStorage) is protected by the operating system and browser security model.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes your acceptance.

Your Data, Your Control
All study progress data (formula checklist, flashcard ratings) is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing browser data permanently deletes it. We have no copy.
